Word 2013

Here's a link to the mini review I wrote about this software over at my writing/poetry blog: My Poetic Path.

To say I'm not impressed by this new version of Word is a big understatement!

If you are considering "upgrading" to this new version of Word, read my review first! You might save yourself some money and a whole lot of aggravation.

Overall rating for this product: Unsatisfactory. 1 out of 5.

  1. I find Microsoft Office Word 2007 much easier you can press enter and there will be section for page numbers and 3 example of where you may want them top, bottom or another i would never use :) of course since my last computer bust i lost 2 complete novels and 5 I started so I wouldn't forget the idea so much for that save save and save and copy, 1 copy to be safe

    1. I agree Lorraine, the older versions of Word aren't as hard to navigate or use. But they should ALL be user friendly, especially when it comes to tasks that many, many people use word processors for like formatting a novel. I still say that MS should hire some ordinary people to help with designing these programs, not just what programmers and designers think we need!

  2. they make that complicated so that they can make more money by selling books on how to use it, let's face it the entire world is money-crazy, everything goes up, because everything goes up, it's a vicious circle it has to stop, and the sad thing is it's all things we need in our world. So it's pretty hard to get whole communities to agree to not consume anything until they smarten up...At one point the economy will blow up....everything is too expensive everybody is loosing their houses, bankruptcies are as common as trade. I mean STOP world

    1. Can't agree with you there Lorraine, if you read my review of this book you'll see I gave it a very low rating. Did not ring true for me at all, especially after I read some personal info. about the author.

    2. well the way I see is that having a near death experience does not necessarily make you a better soul it should but it doesn't always, I had some moments i didn't but besides the author 's own opinion doesn't matter to me...but I can see why she wouldn't be very likeable, like thinking everything is frivolous is wrong, you for example what you do is extraordinary and she's probably or not write you off...the second book makes her a little more real

    3. That's not what I found unbelievable about her story L, as I've already said, I read quite a bit about the author at other sites...in addition to this book and none of it seemed credible. As far as this author, writing me off, wouldn't bother me a bit. I wrote her off too. LOL

    1. that's weird. no way you're banned! but you should try making some of those salads, they are great and not a lot of cooking (if any) for them. the spinach one from my cookbook is so delish and no cooking required, just some chopping and mixing. yummm....

sorry your blog didn't turn out as planned but it's nice to know we can delete them, isn't it?

      Happy Wednesday, G

  8. Absolutely and I changed to My New Home, these meditations have worked in very unimaginable ways. I can't eat spinach or corn, unless trying to be delicate I stay permanently in the small room with a bath
