Auction Buddies

This is a review that I wrote some time ago, over at my cooking and craft blog: Veggies, Yarns & Tails.

I'm re-posting it here as it appears from the continued comments and visits to this post that Auction Buddies is still causing a lot of people, nothing but grief. They certainly added to my stress level at the time.

You be the judge! And if you've also had problems with this company, please leave a comment, thanks.

Overall rating for this company: BAD. 0 out of 5.

  2. This is not a company that anyone should have to deal with. They caused us a lot of unnecessary problems.

  3. This company ships lightning fast and I have been ordering hair extensions for yrs and these are the best quality that I've ever seen! They also come with the clips sewn in and are the cheapest price as well! The service is very good too, so I TOTALLY recommend this company! They also offer free standard shipping.

  5. Thanks Sandy. I'm hoping I can help with buying choices for many people, via my reviews. I know I prefer to read personal reviews over company website "stars and ratings" etc. Judging by the visitors here already from all over the world, a lot of people enjoy reading reviews now, thanks to the internet.

Hi Joe, They certainly did! I was so glad that Canada Post stepped up to help us, not that it was actually their problem, that was unexpected but appreciated assistance.

Hi Anonymous, It would have been nice if you had shared your name as well. I'm glad your experience with this co. has been positive to date. Sadly, that's not the case for a lot of people, as you can see from the review/previous comments here and others online.

Hi Brenda, It really was. And so unnecessary. Companies really have to be aware that it's a different buying world now. People CAN check out companies and products ahead of time and make an informed decision. They don't need to take a chance on putting up with a lot of aggravation and often lost money, by chosing a company that doesn't deliver "the goods" in all ways.

Thank you for stopping in and Happy Weekend, G

  6. I'm just wondering if Canada Post of all companies offered a refund, doesn't that mean that they either lost the package or damaged the item while in transit? We all know how hard it is to get Canada Post to actually admit any wrongdoing. They're not ones to openly offer refunds unless the issue was obviously their fault?

  7. I think the original review makes it clear who was at fault. The fact that CP was the company that helped with the money lost (because the package was insured) does not leave Auction Buddies off the hook, in terms of customer service throughout this ordeal. As I said before, I'm glad your experience was better than what many other customers, including myself have been through with this company.

  8. This company operates under muitiple names including "The Hair Annex". I have had a ton of grief dealing with a return from 2011. I have email them many times and tried to post negative reviews (they are deleted). I am blocked from their Facebook page. They have no phone number. I am lodging a complaint with Consumer Affairs.

Hmm...sounds like they are posting their phoney baloney on here too (anonymous).
